Maplewood Farm is now offering programs to introduce children to farm life!

We are currently offering a variety of different farm programs to accommodate a range of ages, like: Children’s programs, Family Programs, Farm Workshops and more! We will also sometimes offer Mini sessions for a few of our programs.

Children will engage in immersive, hands-on experiences with a variety of farm animals, and farm activities. Farm camp gives children the time to learn about farm life, complete farm-themed projects, and take on responsibilities such as cleaning pens, feeding animals, and learning about the importance of routine care for the well-being of our animals.

Youth embark on an exciting farm adventure tailored to offer a unique hands-on experience, allowing participants to actively engage in caring for an working with a variety of farm animals. From gentle handling and feeding, participants will gain firsthand experience understanding animal care responsibilities.

Participants will actively participate in the daily routine of farm life, including cleaning of pens, feeding, and enrichment. Activities may include grooming, planting, gardening, and understanding the relationship between plants and animals on a farm.

Chicken keeping basics

Thinking of starting your own backyard flock? This hands-on workshop will teach you the basics of raising happy, healthy chickens. Cancellation Policy: 2 weeks or more notice full refund, after 2 weeks 50% refund. Once the program has begun no refunds will be issued.

*Maplewood Farm reserves the right to cancel a session due to low enrolment. In the event of a cancellation, registration will be refunded 2 weeks prior to session start date*
