Did you know that animals need regular dental checkups too? 🐴🦷

Our horses, ponies, and donkey just had their teeth floated! During a dental float, the vet carefully examines their mouths, smooths out sharp edges, levels uneven teeth, and addresses any issues. This visit even included one extraction.

One of our oldest ponies, Snicklefritz, who is 28 years old, has hardly any teeth left! As horses age, dental care becomes even more important to keep them comfortable and able to eat properly.

For the procedure, the horses are given light sedation to keep them relaxed and safe while the vet completes the dental work. Regular dental care helps ensure they stay happy, healthy, and pain-free.
