101 Pumpkin Event was a blast!
So many people came to join us for our annual 101 Pumpkin Event and made this event once again a huge success. The rain held off and everyone enjoyed pony riding, crafting and even a special appearance by Spiderman – there was much to see and to do for all the little cowboys, dinosaurs and monsters who visited us. And for the first 101 kids, who came dressed up in costumes awaited a pumpkin to take home.
We hope to see all of you again next year for this popular event!
Behind the scenes – A unique opportunity at Maplewood Farm
Grab the chance to be a farmer for a day and take part in collecting and washing eggs, grooming Sally and Minnie, and preparing sheep grain and bedding. Have a look behind the scenes and explore the daily life of our farm hands.
As “Behind the scenes” is our most popular event, make sure to grab a spot as early as possible.
Children must be 3 years+ and pre-registration is required. Sessions are 1 hour long and offered at 11am and 2pm each day. $24.25 for one adult and one child.

Buy-a-Brick Campaign – improve our farm – one brick at a time
Maplewood Farm is pleased to launch its Buy-a-Brick Campaign and invites the public to take part. Purchasing one of these engraved commemorative bricks is a fun and innovative way to show your support and contribute to the farm at the same time.Your contribution will help to construct a new aviary for our parrots as well as to pave the walking ways to ensure the accessibility for strollers, wheelchairs and other wheeled mobility aids.
For $150 you can purchase a decorative brick with your name, or the name of a loved one, engraved on it. If you spend $200, you will also receive a one-year family membership to the farm. Buy one for yourself, or as a gift for family and friends to celebrate a birth, an important birthday, a marriage, a graduation, or memorialize an animal lover who has passed on.
Your gift will provide a lasting legacy at Maplewood Farm. All bricks sold will be used to construct a commemorative wall around our new community garden at the front entrance to the farm.
