Life Span
Quail live an average of two to three years in the wild but some quail can live up to five or six years in captivity

- Considered fully grown at six weeks and start egg production at eight weeks of age.
- Make a neighbourhood-friendly backyard bird due to their small size and quiet crows, unlike the rooster.
- Hens can lay between 200-300 eggs per year with proper environment and nutrition.
- Quail live in pairs or social groups, known as a covey.
