Origin
First domesticated in Asia, belong to the Family of birds called Phasianidae that includes chickens, pheasants & partridges
Common quail breed in Europe, western Asia, and northwest Africa
Life Span
Quail live an average of 2-3 years in the wild but some quail can live up to 5-6 years in captivity
